Red House has one sand beach for swimming, hiking and nature trails that do double duty for horseback riding, biking, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. The 25 miles of trails in the Art Roscoe Ski Touring Area attracts all level of cross country skiers in the winter and mountain bikers in the summer. The Red House Area also serves as the host of the Annual Raccoon Rally-Mountain Bike Festival each June. The Red House area has recently added ice fishing and winter campsites to its list of winter activities. One campground and 7 cabin trails offer a total of 130 campsites and 144 cabins, 128 of them winterized, and three Group Camps available for rental. The newest addition to the Red House area is the Pitt Cottage, a seasonal Full Service Accomodation, which is fully-equipped with the latest conveniences. Allegany's mixed hemlock/hardwood forest, mountains, rolling hills and meadows, streams, ponds and lakes attract devoted outdoors people year-round.

Seasons/Hours: Open Year-Round.

Pets: Household pets only; caged or on a leash not more than 10 feet. No pets at bathing areas, public buildings or on cross-country ski trails.
